It doesn’t happen too often to find some stunning nature corner just a few steps from the city center, but it’s different in Kraków where you don’t need to go far to see really huge and beautiful lake.
The Zakrzówek Lake has the unique distinction of being hidden lagoon in an old mined quarry—indeed it’s so hidden some people think it’s a myth.
In actual fact it’s relatively easy to get to on foot and is well worth to visit. Dominated by the sheer limestone cliffs and dense thick foliage of the surrouding area, the Zakrzówek Lake is blessed with stunning natural beauty.
