After the Night Faded Away. A Sunrise in Tirnova [Moldova]

There are not that many reasons to visit Tirnova when you travel to Moldova. And same here, for me it was just a small stop on the way to one of my destinations—an abandoned manor house in the village nearby. There were no reasonable connections to that place, so the only way to get there was to take a night train from Chisinau to Tirnova.

Once the train left the village, all lights on the train station turned off and there was nothing around apart from thick darkness which swallowed everything including the way to my final destination, so it seemed to be a good idea to wait for the first sunlight. After over an hour spent exploring dark streets of Tirnova and waiting under one of the very few street lights the sky became a bit brighter contours of the settlement sharper. Bright colours of sunrise conquered the darkness and, just before leaving the village, there was a beautiful landscape around painted with the early sunlight. So beautiful, that it was even worth to stop for a while before going to the final destination.

Still not enough of picturesque landscapes? The continuation of the trip can be found here.
