The Aegna Island [Estonia]

Aegna is an Estonian island in the Bay of Tallinn in the Baltic Sea. Administratively it is part of the city of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia and is a sub district of the Kesklinn (City center) district.

It has an area of around 3 km2, and can be found off the Viimsi peninsula, around 1.5 km NW of Rohuneeme and 14 km north of Tallinn. It has a 10 km coastline which includes two sandy beaches. The highest point of the island is about 13m above sea level.
As of 1 January 2014, Aegna had 6 permanent residents.
Historically Aegna has been used for military purposes and military objects can be still found there. Apart from that, there’re also some abandoned houses and old cemetery on the island. [source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aegna ]
